    Have you ever had one of those days and all you need is a moment to tune back into the present? Give this Pranayama technique a try. Sama Vritti breathe or equal fluctuations is a Pranayama technique that helps calm a busy mind. As the name implies the aim is to inhale and exhale for the same duration of time. Also called box breathing; inhaling for a count of 4, holding for a count of four, exhaling for a count of 4, and holding for a count of 4. This count of 4 is repeated until you wish to elongate the count (e.g. a count of 5, 6, or 7) or reduce the count (e.g. a count of 2 or 3). Remember the number doesn't matter, instead focus on the count that feels the best for your body.
