Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) is a fundamental pose in most styles of yoga practice. It may seem like a fairly simple and self explanatory piece of the yoga puzzle right? Well, let me tell you- there's a LOT we can do make it safer, more comfortable and more beneficial for you. Every single body is different, yoga is not a one-size-fits-all affair, it's about finding what feels right for you, we can only do this by bringing more awareness into the placement and activation within the body.
